A new year is a good time to tighten compliance, because small cloud gaps get noticed fast.
One missing log. One shared account. One access review that was never done. That is enough to slow CMMC progress and delay approvals. Reviewers want proof that MFA, logging, and backups are real and consistent. When proof is missing, bids can stall and renewals can slip.
This month, clean up your cloud basics: remove shared logins, enforce MFA, confirm logs are exporting, and store evidence in one place. That way, you are ready when a request for proof comes in.

Holiday deadlines are here, and cloud gaps get noticed fast.
One shared admin login. One missing MFA proof. One log that was never exported. That is enough to pause a CMMC Level 2 review and delay approvals when teams are already stretched. Reviewers want evidence that access, logging, and backups are real and consistent. If proof is scattered, the risk is not just security. It is stalled work and delayed revenue.
This month, tighten your cloud: remove shared accounts, enforce MFA, verify log exports, and store proof by control so you are ready before year end checks.
